What is the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme?
The Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme is a flagship initiative of the Government of Bihar, aimed at supporting students from economically weaker sections who have passed Class 12 and wish to pursue higher education.
This scheme enables students to take education loans for general, technical, professional, and management courses such as BCA, BBA, BBM, MCA, and other approved programs, thereby ensuring uninterrupted academic progress.

🔔 Important Information:
As per government guidelines, any unused or excess amount received under the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme must be refunded to the Government of Bihar. This ensures accountability and proper utilization of public funds.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfill the following conditions:
Must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
Must be admitted to a recognized institution approved by state or central regulatory authorities.
The scheme is applicable for general, technical, professional, and management courses.
The applicant must have passed Class 12 (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
How to Apply for the Student Credit Card Scheme
Students can apply online by following these steps:
Visit the official website: www.7nishchay-yuvaupmission.bihar.gov.in
Click on New Applicant Registration.
Enter personal details such as Name, Aadhaar Number, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
Verify your details using the OTP received.
Log in using the credentials sent to your registered email.
Fill in the required personal and educational information.
Select Student Credit Card Scheme from the “Select Scheme” dropdown menu.
Enter details of the Applicant and Co-applicant.
Receive a Unique Application ID via email and SMS.
Download the application form PDF.
Wait for the notification regarding date and time of DRCC center visit.
Visit the DRCC center with all required documents to complete the process.
